SDCC 2019 – Arrow Interview: Katie Cassidy-Rogers On Crisis On Infinite Earths & Directing In Final Season

Season 8 of The CW drama Arrow, the show that started the whole Arrowverse will be the final installment of the series as Green Arrow gears up for one final adventure. With the massive Crisis On Infinite Earths crossover, one of the biggest DC stories coming to screen happening, Arrow is going out with a bang. At this year’s San Diego Comic-Con, the cast and executive producers of Arrow were present to preview the final season that will arrive in October. The Flash Podcast took part in the press room this year to discuss with the actors and executive producer on what to expect in Season 8.

One of the talents that were present was Black Canary/Black Siren herself as Katie Cassidy-Rogers chatted with the press about things to look forward to in the new season. Things that Cassidy-Rogers talked about included:

*Whether or not the two Black Canaries will get to team-up again in the final season.

*Her excitement for getting to direct episode 3 of the eighth season.

*Whether or not she hopes to see some of the characters from Laurel’s life back on Earth-2 show up.

*What she can tease about Laurel in the future storyline with the new generation.

*Teases that she will team-up with Oliver to protect the Multiverse.

*How much she loves the new costume that was revealed at the panel.

*How excited she is for the final season and how she hopes for Laurel’s adventures to continue beyond Season 8, maybe in a Birds of Prey spin-off series.
