The CW is in the process of developing a female team-up series featuring Katherine McNamara’s Mia Smoak and the Black Canaries, with Katie Cassidy’s Laurel Lance and Juliana Harkavy’s Dinah Drake!

According to Deadline Hollywood, the project is set to have a backdoor pilot in Arrow’s final season. For the time being, the project has a been given a pilot order, which marks the first one for The CW’s 2020-2021 TV season. Arrow’s Beth Schwartz, Marc Guggenheim, Jill Blankenship and Oscar Balderrama are attached to the project as writers and executive producers.

The biggest reveal from this announcement is the fact that Mia will be the Green Arrow in this series, following her father’s footsteps.
